Hello, everyone! 👋👋
Glad to see you here on my very first blog. My name is Jochebed, and today I am going to give you a brief tour to see some places at National Dong Hwa University. For your information, NDHU is located in Shoufeng Township, Hualien County, Taiwan. It is known as one of the largest universities in Taiwan and even have been a place where many people come to visit. I hope you can enjoy this short virtual tour with me as your tour guide!

I am a student from the English Department, which is under the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. Here at NDHU, we have three separated CHASS buildings. What I love about the buildings is the location; there are so many trees especially between the first and second buildings, which makes the atmosphere calmer and lovely at the same time! We also have our own bookstore and copy center in the first CHASS building. You can get books, some stationery things, and campus goods there.
If you walk outside of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences building, you will find a pathway between green grass with the view of both the administration building and library on your sides. NDHU has a very spacious and wide area, so you could enjoy almost every part of the campus. You can also go to the Lakeside and find three rock chairs placed in front of the Family Mart. Can you imagine sitting there while enjoying the beautiful scenery of the sky along with the lake?
Last, we’re going to take a look at the library! NDHU has one of the most interesting library buildings in my opinion. Can you see the tallest part of the building there? If you go to the highest floor, you will have the whole view of Shoufeng Township, as if you could reach it all with your hand!
I guess
that is all I can share about my campus in this virtual tour. Yes, I know that
there are still many things that we can explore together about this university.
If you’re interested in knowing more about NDHU, feel free to reach out to me
